YG must stop being dependent on BP, it will not help the group nor the agency

I agree with them having to learn how to manage more than 0 groups together, but sincerely I never felt "wow, YGE really put a loft of effort when it comes to BP". Since debut BP gave them achievements that even BB couldn't and since debut YGE keeps underestimating them.

The lack of songs, promotion and support are obvious.

I think Winner and iKon are a great example of YGE dumb strategies. Both had a great start and while some cbs were hits, overall their career were more mid to almost flop, specially iKon. BP is actually the exception in YGE. We are in a new era where YGE influence is almost zero, their image is in hell and just BP kept at the top thanks to the fandom.

Well, I mean, I bet If they could choose, they would have a lot of acts as successful a BP. But many things they have no control over happens to their bgs due to lack of luck.

although yge puts very little effort into bp, you cant deny they are dependent on them money wise. since yge has learned that little effort=high reward when it comes to bp they have just been chilling, making barely any moves yet still making hella bank.

but what will they do after bp? bp wont last forever, their contracts are coming up soon. (this is not me saying its guranteed bp WILL disband, but just worst case scenario, IF bp disbands or go on a hiatus thats just as long as bigbangs or snsd). not even all their current groups combined can make the amount bp is giving to yge. although bigbang can make big bank (lol), they are a veteran group, their hiatuses will most likely be longer than bps.

yge will have to pray baemon does half as good as bp, and hope treasure does way better than what they are doing now (this is not a diss at treasure i love them i love the jline i love hello)

No...they need to stop being so dependent on Teddy for Blackpink.

The whole reason Blackpink isn't getting more songs is because they give everything for Teddy to make and they're not even a part of Teddy's label. Having just one main producer creates problems in variety and quantity. I would actually love it if they changed it around a bit.

I get that they love Teddy, heck we love Teddy and the music he produces but he shouldn't have to make every single song.

YGE are not dependent on BP, BP makes a lot of money for YGE but YGE are dependant on Teddy for that to happen and their Management to profit from BP.

BP are just 4 females that were scouted, trained and marketted by YGE, YGE can repeat what they are doing with their next GG. And with the current hype of the 4th gen, they'd likely strike it even bigger

Well Somi isn't a group, she wasn't scouted by YGE and her training has been overly influenced by JYPE. Somi sets the precedent at YGE for a Female with her Style, Image and influenced by her pre-debut fame. I doubt that YGE would have scouted Somi.

YGE's next Girl Group will follow the template set by 2Ne1

They don't seem to be in much of a rush.

They STILL haven't debuted their next GG.

MAYBE next year?
