Why do you guys think a solo was included? It's a great song, but it seems strange when the album only has 8 songs anyway.
I've seen theories that YG is testing reactions to another girl getting more solo music before Jisoo, whilst others think YG is just lazy.
It's interesting it isn't made clear it's a solo until you listen to it. If it was Jennie or Lisa I think people would rage

what I'm thinking is that YG somewhat acknowledges the solo stan problem within the Blink fandom so they were just being cautious at promoting the album

Hard to Love matches well with the rest of the B-sides.
We might love it, but maybe for them it's a reject hence not making it for Rosie's debut. I really wonder how the scrapped songs this time sound like that they prefer and insisted on Hard to Love to make the cut in the end.
I don't mind it being in the album; however it's a bummer the song is credited as a BLACKPINK song, not Chae's.

HTL not a reject song as YG only recent started hiring outside producers/songwriters and buying reject demos.
Then they should have labeled it as a Rose solo instead of trying to sneak it in as a group song.

Born Pink has 2 TTs, 1 CFs, 1 solo song and 4 other new b-sides, if you take the solo song and CF out, is basically a mini album
They should put 7 BP songs + 4 solos, Jisoo and Jennie get new (or in JS case first solo) songs to perform at their concert and RS/LS getting more songs
What's hilarious to me is that this is BY FAR the best of all their solo songs and it gets packaged in the group album as a b-side.

This song deserves its own glory as a title track with a proper MV.
