Signal is literally amazing Twice has no bad songs, if you dont like the song it just might now be for you.

I wonder what people would’ve said about their latest tracks if they were smash hits. Twice has more fillers TT before fancy than after.

My personal faves:

1. Fancy- was pretty successful

2. TTT- remains to be seen

3....ngl, I have not loved most of Twice's Korean title tracks since after Fancy...

We all know that most of Twice's song pre-Fancy did well, so due to the nature of your question, not sure if I should list them. I did like Scientist though and we know that didn't do too well lol.

Twice has no bad songs / Title Tracks and I love them all but my faves are Like Ooh-ah, Feel Special, Scientist, Talk That Talk and Signal

Not really, Signal sucks. Nothing happened

1. Fancy is my favorite Twice song period. No one can change my mind. It'll probably stay there forever, and I try my HARDEST not to judge anyone that says they dislike Fancy.

As far as success goes...I feel like it would've made a lot of wins but pretty much the only reason it didn't was because BTS was blocking them at the time who released Boy with Luv on almost the exact same day. I'm so glad that Pink Venom and Talk that Talk didn't get released on the same day. (Fancy only got 3 total music show wins while their other comebacks had a lot more)

International fans loved it, and K-fans did as well and I see many fans today confused on why they got so little wins and it was their song that won the least at the time (Scientist beat that with only 2 ms wins) when so many people loved it so much. It's still a fan favorite and not surprising if you like it today. It was just blocked by many other releases that year.

Yeah, I don't get it. The worst thing I have heard people say about Scientist is that it's boring, but for some reason people legitimately hate it lol.

Finally, someone who recognizes how good Like Ooh Ahh is. It may not be really high up there but it's one of my favorite title tracks to go back and listen to. It definitely lifts up my mood and makes me feel like I want to dance!

Talk that Talk being up here is interesting imo. It might be in my top three, actually. But I'm indecisive because it just came out a few days ago and of course, opinions change over time. I've seen people who've listened to a song they initially disliked and like it a lot after a few listens. For some it takes a lot more listens or some may never like it.

So, I'm curious, how did you decide so soon that Talk That Talk is in your top 5? Just out of curiosity, of course. No problem with it at all

I dont think there is a relationship between charting and song quality. You have lesser songs both flopping and charting well, you have megabops both flopping and charting well.

This kind of applies to me...I feel like after Fancy for sure being numba 1, it's so hard to rank the other title tracks...like they switch around so much for real! I swear, the only one I'm sure about is Fancy.

I have to say tho, as Twice age and change over the years, my preference has also changed.

Title tracks that I used to love like TT and Cheer Up now feels too kiddish to me. I still like them but not like I used to.

As to success, I feel with Twice is such a timing thing. TTT is still an amazing song, not all songs have to have a super catchy and viral chorus but I feel the times are just different now.

Twice debut at a time when there has been a cute concept drought. Clearly 4th gen's taste has completely changed. We went from "cute" to "girl crush" to.....having a song like Attention dominating at the top. I think if TTT was released in 2016, it woulda done just fine.

Fans for the most part seem to like TTT but GP and non-fans don't and its understandable.

Twice found what was good and worked for them and they owned it dominating the first 9 releases.
They sensed a change in the trend in the industry and tried changing it up to stay competitive, a very reasonable business decision adapt or die. Unfortunately it didn't work as intended.

TTT is an attempt to go back to what worked but unfortunately the trend has yet shifted again and the world moved on.

It's not so much that Twice changed but the world around us has changed.

Now the question is try to cater to current fan who has stayed loyal for so long over the years and give up charting or take big risk....impossible to say but I can understand and support both decisions.

I don't know...Scientist is a decent song. I love deep voice Mina and Momo, that's probably my favorite part of the song. The choreo is super cute and so is the music video.

It just is kind of wavering in the middle but closer to the bottom of my list. It's just not as exciting as some other Twice title tracks. I loved Talk that Talk because it was very climatic, and the ending felt like a celebration which I absolutely love. I don't know, I think it might be the chorus for Scientist though an absolute earworm. Just not my cup of tea.
