I was about 14. It was Shinee Lucifer, and I hated it lol. I was reading a fanfiction, and one of the characters for some reason broke into song. That was the song they sang, so I was curious about it and I looked it up.
2nd time, I was around 17? An associate from high school was a VIP, and she introduced me to Big Bang. She made me a VIP, but Big Bang hiatuses were very long at that point so I fell out of it.
3rd time, a friend from college was half Korean, so she reintroduced me to KPOP. I got introduced to EXO, BAP, BTS, and more BGs. From there, I listened to KPOP on and off until Call Me Baby came out and officially made me a fan.

I was in college. 18.
My Korean classmate showed me SNSD's Into The New World as it had been released just a month or so prior.
It was literally like someone had shown me a whole new world. One I didn't know existed. But would become a large part of my life from that point.
Here I am years later. Still in love with this world.

I started to listen to kpop seriously when I was 16-17.

Technically it was in 2010 when I was 11,however at the time I didn't know it was k-pop
First song I heard acknowledging it was k-pop was in 2011 when I was 12.

it was either GS which would be what 2012 or nobody from Wonder Girls (I didn't even know it was a kpop song)

I was 45 in 2009 when I first heard Gee, which is probably why it didn't/doesn't appeal to me at all. I didn't start digging into Kpop until after Gangnam Style, when I started checking out the related videos on YouTube.
