kpop hits different when you are older

  • when i was 14 i loved how young idols were because i found them relatable

now at 21 im scared to realize how young they debut idols and how immature they act even in their 20s

when i was 14 i loved the english parts because i could sing along

now i cringe everytime i hear english parts because they put no effort into making them gramatically correct or pronounced correct or even have any meaning whatsoever; its all just to look cool to the anglosphere

that said, ive been into this too long and they do have good music so i cant give up either

what are some questionable things you have noticed as a 20+ yo kpop fan?

  • I became a fan in my 20s and my thinking hasn't changed that much if at all.

I will say the cringey English lyrics annoy me much more now because there are more English speakers in groups, so it's more noticeable when they have to sing either bad English or use the Korean pronunciation. Why??
