I guess there was no Big4 BG debut this year nor produce so it didn’t make much noise

Prediction: it's ATBO at the Melon Music Awards, as they're from the same company, Kakao.

That's how it goes with Melon lately: if a Kakao division has a new group that year, it's selected as the best new artist (e.g., 2018 with The Boyz (Loen/Cre.ker/IST), and 2020 with Cravity (Starship) and Weeekly (IST)). ATBO is part of IST.

Not sure who'll win it at MNET, though. It seems to go by pure popularity (2018: Stray Kids, 2019: TXT, 2000: Treasure, 2021: Enhypen), and I have no idea who's hot among this year's new groups/artists.
