Why are STAYC less popular internationally?

Likable yes, Sieun is a top bias, and they always have great choreo, but they dont have any striking visuals and their title tracks are hit or miss. There is just insane competition right now, since they debuted we've had Aespa, Lesserafim, NMIXX, Kepler, Newbeans, and Ive, all have strong international fanbases, plus groups like Idle, Itzy, Blackpink, Twice and Red Velvet continue soldering on, overcoming all storms.

StayC could end up to be the OMG of Kpop, a domestic focused GG, and there's nothing wrong with that.

Well that's how it is with some groups just like how loona appeal to international fans more thank Korean fans some attract the local market other attract the international one

Maybe people don't like their music much?

I don't really have any strong impressions of their music. Nothing of theirs has ever made me want to add it to a playlist, and i've got some pretty nugu stuff in there (Girls by Nature, Dumb by Bvndit, Run by H1-Key). Saying they have "good music" is a bit of a pre-emptive assumption. Every fan says their group has good music.

I mean I would obviously agree that it's not all about music, considering some....recent releases, let's say, but if you want to be popular it still has to be about the music sometimes.

Even if Itzy and BP and Aespa are putting out pretty atrocious stuff right now, they've had some songs in the past which I can see why they became popular. Perhaps StayC just haven't had that song yet.

Loona is the one that I can't understand, like how could they got more international fans than their domestic? why? what happened?

I dunno, I just find them kind of... generic kpop?

Like their music is harmless and inoffensive, but that also means it's not super exciting?

I-Fans appear to go crazy for all that "It's all connected" stuff. Endless time's the first thing an Orbit does is not say they have good music, but say "their music is all connected" "or they have their own lore".

personally, I don't vibe with their music. I might say "stayc has good music", but that's because their music causes less headache when listening to, not necessarily because it's my cup of tea. I do think they are very talented, but in other aspects they are just there .

Orbits definitely were super proud of their music back in the day

it had died down understandably in the last couple of years since most orbits themselves dont like their new music much

maybe their songs

i hope they get more popular!!!their songs all really slap
