Also, Minju was always planning to be an actress. Her and Hyewon. Their companies pushed them on the show to promote them, and probably wasn't even sure they would debut until they blew up for their visuals.

Minju has now just gone back to her original game plan that actually debuting derailed.

People think being a kpop idol is the ultimate goal.

If you want to be a paid entertainer it probably isnt a smart dream to be a kpop idol because theyre mostly in debt so now that girl is famous and owes no company any training debts.

Wut? She wouldnt have taken on any trainee debt at Hybe, Hybe wouldve paid her whatever she wanted to join up. She coulda been the difference between #9 on Melon vs reaching #1, and woulda gotten them another 150k in album sales easily. It was a slam dunk, no risk involved for either party. She is BFFs with Chaewon too, it wouldve been a seamless transition.

Imagine a group with Sakura, Chaewon, Minju, Yunjin and Kazuha. Seriously, they would be stepping on the necks of every GG out there tbh. They wouldnt let Japan breathe, they would lock down that country no fucks given.

I don't see Minju dabbling back into the idol industry unless:

1. Her acting career takes off and she becomes a veteran in the industry who gets to the point she wants to try something new.

2. Her acting career flops and her company wants a quick cash grab. Even then, with her visuals, she could still fall back into MCing.

IDC. I still miss idol Minju. Sometimes life just disappoints me....
