It only happen with groups from big companies.

The people want Attention. And i dont mean the song.

There is nothing wrong with exaggerate. But dont take Kpop seriously is the main reason no one outsite Kpop can take it seriously. The industry treating idols less than singers or actors is also due to this behavior.

They will do the same thing once Ilandgg and Ygngg debut

That's true. It happened after debut where they had results of some sort.

I don't remember threads being made saying ive will end everyone pre-debut. This mostly happens only to new groups from big4.

As someone who waits until the product is released and does not buy into hype of new groups.. just watching the speculative car crash happen is just nothing but pure entertainment.

I fail to see the correlation between kpop fans hyping groups and exaggerating a bit and industry not taking idols seriously, but thanks for your input.

I remember saying BTS would become more relevant than 1D worldwide and Bigbang in Korea back in 2017 itself (sadly I wasn't on this forum then), and I wasn't wrong. Still kpop fans need to stop taking every stan's words seriously.

There is nothing wrong with hyping a group. But do it reasonable.

When people stan nmixx because they have the most flawless discography from all Kpop groups. Or a group like newjeans is all superior main vocal material even if we have not really heard them singing jet. Its not a bit exaggerating but just a joke.

And if we treat our idols as a joke everyone else have no reason to do otherwise
