Omg just last night I saw this video trending on YouTube

It already has almost 300k views in 24 hours

It’s not subbed. But going into the comment section I had a general idea of what the broadcast was about.

Sorry I almost forgot to explain the video. So this issue is really going viral on SK YouTube. It’s rare for news broadcast to pull these views in such a short period

And also I do think the current party has a vendetta against BTS. Not sure it’s because of the inauguration but their party leader has been making very snarky comments that drag BTS

So there’s a controversy surrounding the current president where he went on a trip with a common civilian on a secret presidential trip, and the leader trying to protect his party made a claim that the past government was also taking BTS along their presidential works so why’s president Yoon taking the heat

Even went ahead to describe BTS as a nobody that follows the whim of anybody in power, in short he implied BTS are nobodies in the hierarchy of power and they lap to be in the grace of those in power

That’s why there is a lot of heat in the comments. Because a lot of Koreans found it disrespectful how BTS, an act with so much global influence, can be forced to do something they don’t want to. Also in their opinion BTS is not a common civilian whiles going on these trips. First they were given diplomatic missions to visit the UN with Moon so they aren’t your typical “civilians”. Also even before that, all their trips they have made to attend events with Moon, BTS were requested by the government and they were paid for these trips(even though BTS never took those payments and funded these trips out of their own pockets) BTW THESE ARE THE OPINIONS IN THE COMMENT SECTION, NOT MINE!
