to me though, me being an army, it's not as much about gate keeping as it more is about hypocrisy.
BTS have been criticized and ridiculed for things they've done in the past by tons of kpop fans and knetz alike but now that other groups are doing it, it's revolutionary.
Idc about other groups doing it nor do I wish for their downfall but the double standard is a bit funky to me.

eyy, I get your point. Tbh , most people are hypocritical. People are always lenient or supportive of their faves but diminish other's achievements. Nothing much can be done about it, and I doubt anyone will be able to convince someone otherwise.

Epictetus is my current favorite to read. Though I would say Meditations by Marcus Aurelius is the most famous Stoic work.
I would recommend the Enchiridion. pretty short and to the point.
On the Shortness of life is great as well, by Seneca.

Well tbh I feel like most of the fandoms were hypocrites at least once in their life. I feel like starting whole drama about pointless things like this is stupid. But that's just my opinion

But I think when you're part of a certain fandom than hypocrisy against the group you like 'hits more' than when it happens with other groups.
