BGs need to not cover GGs if they are gonna be aggro about it

Oh dear that goes beyond putting your own perspective and personality in the dance, as a lot of dancers do, i couldn't even finish watching this.

I thought that the blonde guy who started it did well but as it kept going it started to feel weird..i don't think there's a need to do so much to put a good performance, toxic masculinity and stuff aside

How in the world do u take snapping and turn it into the most generic hep hap based choreo in existence that doesnt even flow well with the song

sometimes i think they do a good job adding their own flavor to a choreo but other times it just doesn't fit with the song anymore and looks off like the one @Bpsosoro linked

there's gotta be some kind of middle ground between just doing the choreography exactly as it is and going full aggro hard hitting hip hop

I get what you're saying but I think making a performance more masculine isn't always a bad thing. Sometimes it can add a groups own flair to the cover and can make a pretty interesting final product. It's really only a problem with me when a bg does it in a way that takes away from the song
