Controversy regarding fans treatment at NMIXX fansign in US - they made fans turn into crabs

The organizers fucked up.

Honestly this is just embarrassing on jyp’s part. You’d think this is the kind of blunders only a nugu company would commit, not one that’s housed so many successful acts and been trying to make it into the western market since 2009 lol

were the fans told to get on their knees? i don't understand why they didn't just do their thing while standing even if the table was low?

if the organizers or the staff actually made the fans get on their knees then they deserve all the dragging the could get.

I thought it's normal for fansigns, I remember ppl being on knees on BTS fansigns and maybe just standing (with BTS table being high)

It's kind of weird, because at least in my region of the States, it's pretty normal to be comfortable with standing and talking to someone who is seated and vice versa.

I remember being called out about it in college by my Korean friend. We were at lunch and a professor she knew came over and I didn't stand up. My friend told me that would be considered very rude in Korea. Which lol reminds me that my boss interrupted my lunch today and I didn't stand up for her either.

Anyway, I mostly feel bad for these fans. If they were comfortable getting down to eye level and were happy to meet a group they really like, to then get made fun of it online has to put a damper on their fun. Not every little thing needs to be made into a huge fucking deal all the time.
