It's Travis Scott
who is that
So the thread isn't actually about me, it's about another user that left recently and I'm trying to convince her to come back although I'm not sure what to say to her. There was a combination of incidents between her and her own fandom that made her leave so I'll explain below but I won't name anyone so let's call the fandom, X.
1) A known troll and anti made a troll post, users from fandom X began to drag the artist the troll supports, my friend made a comment calling out both the troll and users from her own fandom for dragging other artists, users from her fandom told her to shut up and implied she was a fake fan
2) In another thread, my friend called out a toxic user in her fandom X who made a thread that obviously wanted to start drama and she questioned why were so many people in her own fandom defending and supporting such a toxic user, some users then began to target her
3) I've seen her having to deal with gatekeepers because she doesn't follow the 'cult mentality' on here
I'm trying to get her to come back because she did enjoy AKP although ironically, she enjoyed speaking to other fandoms and multis more rather than her own fandom. I'm not sure what to say to her
my comment about billboard 200 was referring to the earlier comments where only billboard 200 was being discussed, my opinion on this is if we're looking at globally then The Feels is the bigger hit, if we're looking at the bigger hit in Korea, it's NL, the answer to your thread depends on how you measure the success of a kpop group , whether you focus on international only, Korea only or both combined
How did you read the whole thread and get everything wrong.
It isn’t “one chart” twice outperformed across the board in Apple Music/Spotify/YouTube/TikTok as well as charting in the official music charts of various countries. This was never the case with ice cream and HYLT where yes HYLT trumped Ice cream in majority of these metrics just like how the feels did with NL
I was referring to the comments where only billboard 200 was being discussed. I'm fully aware that The Feels outperformed NL on international charts as I already said in my comment.
Reading this thread, it just seems like the below is happening:
ONCEs - focusing on international achievements only because it suits their narrative
MYs - focusing on domestic achievements only because it suits their narrative
Focusing on only one chart like Billboard global 200 and using that as a metric is dumb af because you're basically saying Ice Cream (which peaked at 8 on the chart) is a bigger hit than HYLT (which peaked at 24 on the chart). You should look at all metrics and charts but the problem with comparing The Feels and Next Level is that one was aiming towards international success and the other was aiming towards domestic success, both songs succeeded in what they wanted to achieve.
then all men are incels by that definition. Since Adam
What do you think your oppas talk about in their kakaotalk group chats
that’s literally normal male thinking. Even your oppas are doing it because it’s instinctual for hetero men to be sexually attracted about almost any part of a woman, that’s how nature built them. But as how they express it is a different matter
lmao just say you're one of those creepy incels that comment in there and go
It's always entertaining watching company stans fight each other and then claim they're not company stans
Yikes, you remind me of those toxic people that will tell others with mental illnesses like depression to just get over it and be happy so they can fit in with the 'norms' of society.
You're misunderstanding me, I have yet to see an apology from them where they specifically apologized for the countless of colorist & problematic comments they've made in the past, if they have done this, please link me the video and I'll take back what I said, I've only seen a vague apology from them not really addressing what the issue is. I don't believe they're racist, they were just ignorant like many kpop idols and I don't hold it against them.
While I agree what Giselle did was wrong, I just hate the fact that people (especially non poc) are trying to equate her lipsyncing the n word to people who actively encourage the oppression and discrimination of poc. Being half black and half asain myself, I have to deal with the racism that comes with being asian and the racism that comes with being black and nothing pisses me off more than when people throw the word racist and racism around so casually, it completely loses its meaning. What she did was disappointing and ignorant, she apologized so that's something, kpop artists that I listen to have done similar things and never apologized (BTS & NCT) so it'd be hypocritical of me to cancel the girl. These are my thoughts anyway
Fans in general cannot tell the difference when idols are singing live without any help or not, kpop companies have these people hypnotized into thinking oppa and unnie can dance around and have perfect vocals without taking a breath but somehow they struggle massively just standing there and singing. Makes no sense.
if oppar doesn't sit in a circle every night reading out love letters to other oppars, I'm canceling him
Anyone who puts their trust in an idol has probably developed a parasocial relationship with them which isn't healthy.
It's a bop
I'm surprised by the number of flop comments. I'm a massive fan of reggaeton music so I liked everyone's parts in it, it's kinda like chilled back relaxing music you listen to on long journeys or while getting ready etc and a lot of reggaeton music is like this. I wasn't expecting some sort of hard hitting kpop song so maybe that's why I'm not disappointed.
