    I definitely thought it would go to Everglow because of E:U! She’s really good and she’s written nice verses before, as well. So yeah, for now I’m inclined to say it goes to Everglow

    I agree! That’s why I made Jennie’s collab with Doja Cat as something like Boss Bitch because she can really show off her rap skills and style PERFECTLY and then for the subunit I put her on something like Deja Vu with Rosé because her singing voice would sound especially beautiful in a song like that


    and for Jisoo I put her on Drivers License because her voice is gorgeous and I think something like that (especially the chorus and the BRIDGE) would suit her SO. MUCH. I want a cover lol

    Who has the 2nd best gg rap line of 4th gen?


    I thought it might be Everglow but I’ve heard a couple nugus may be up in the ranks as well. I hear Secret Number come up a lot but idk them very well. I love rap so I’m really curious, and I never really hear people raving about any gg in particular having a great rap line except Pixy.

    2. Yes. Soyeon is the best female rapper in 4th gen by far, but (G)i-dle doesn’t apply because Soyeon is their only rapper: (G)i-dle has a rapper, not a rap-line. I’m not singling them out, this is for any group with only 1 rapper.

    There's no super outstanding vocal out of them all, but that's because several of them are rookies.

    There's always some time needed to see.

    Someone else mentioned Denise as well but she’s another one where I haven’t seen any videos and no one has linked any so she’s not in consideration for now, I guess


    I think Swan is below Ningning, and I also think she’s CURRENTLY below Haeyoon and Bora from a technical standpoint (At some point, I think she’ll surpass them)

    I do think Goeun is below Ningning, Haeyoon, and Bora (Winter’s below them, as well).


    I’m going to add them to the honorable mention category though because we couldn’t discuss 4th gen vocals without mentioning them.


    I’ve seen a lot of people mention Yechan of Pink Fantasy but I’m waiting to add her until there’s some videos as reference (live vocals, you know?)

    idk cherry bullet that well, i’ve tentatively listed Ning Ning of Aespa at 3rd with Bora and Haeyoon taking up 4th and 5th.


    since i don’t know them well, idk if the two of them should be above her or not. is there anything else you can send me of them? (or share your opinion if you know all 3 vocalists well, please)

    I’ll be adding him for sure. I’ve heard of his vocals, he’s known for it. I might move names around but I expect he’ll be in the final list

  • Do groups with ONE rapper have a “rap line”

    Do groups with only one rapper count as having a rap line? I’ve never seen this discussed on here but I’m curious what people think.


    I brought this up because the top 5 rap lines of 4th gen would look like this if they do count (in no particular order)

    (G)i-dle

    Purple Kiss

    MCND (idk them that well but I was told they would belong here and they can write for themselves so...)


    but without groups with only ONE rapper we lose 2 of those groups
