it would be kinda embarassing to not show up at your own wedding. my family would make you sure I never forget doing smth so stupid so yeah I would abondon the ticket unless I can postpone the wedding

I would abandon the ticket. I’m my case, I’m probably marrying someone I love. Plus, I’m also that one child who spent an unhealthy amount of time daydreaming about my future wedding and planning it out on my head. I’d go to the wedding. I can’t stand up my future spouse and not see myself as anything short of an absolute jerk.

As for the concert, they’ll likely tour again and I can just go to the next tour. Besides, if I give it to someone else, I can make them super happy and I love making people happy! Anyway, that’s my reasoning, but if you’re in an arranged marriage where you hate your future spouse and the concert is super hard to get tickets for, I can sympathize with the other viewpoint as well.
