Allkpop's adults, what do you think is the hardest thing about being an adult?

Balancing everything in life. Money, Sleep, Job, Social Life, Health. It's hard to balance everything. I feel like I'm constantly sacrificing multiple of the above to make up for the rest.

Exactly! Like I feel so stressed that by the time I get time for entertainment I feel guilty for not being busy lol!

oh i remember going through that a few years ago
i remember i practically had my decision made for me because i had cancer at the time and so i had to choose the only insurance plan with the maximum support for chemotherapy

I think that'll be different for each person.
For me the most difficult is to choose the next problem to focus on, after one problem is solved.
And there are so many options of what to do that it becomes overwhelming, and that's when I have to remember how it was in the simpler times as a child. Then the path becomes clearer.

Not giving into other people trying to emotionally guilt you
Too many adults are manipulative and its tiring to be around them
this is very important to. sometimes it is difficult to get over the guilt tripping some impose on you

It's the worst when we can't avoid those
I started to see them as cartoon characters to feel less annoyed, since it's not my responsibility to change them

I know, sometimes they are even shocked when we say no/ refuse something lol
Which everyone should have a right to...
Imagine accepting everything that others decide for you, that wouldn't be living, really.

bills, taxes. taxes, bills, news, yknow. grown up stuff.
-
When i got my first salary I went buying a lot of useless stuff lol
-
bills, taxes. taxes, bills, news, yknow. grown up stuff.
I avoid most of the news, I think it's not a necessity to be always checking unless it's something that will impact our lives more directly

My answer would be the same.

coming here to see what my future problems will look like. adulthood seems miserable not looking forward to it
-
it's never ending.
- Work Stress - managing people from multiple generations with different personality traits & work styles, pressure from upper management to deliver day in and day out despite various obstacles internally.
- Marriage - keeping it from going stale.
- Finances - mortgage (you don't own a home, it owns you), medical bills, trying to save $$$ for college
- Children - when they are young you are just trying to keep them alive. Now that they are teens I don't even know how to start a conversation with them. LOL.
teens?
how old are you my friend?
-
-
My age = Winter + Momo
lol I guess in 9 years I'd have a teenager too
I'm 37 and considered the boomer of AKP
'sup mate - always good to meet a fellow oldie

Relationships. Knowing when it is time to end one. Cheating. Divorce. Kids. Moods. Deaths. Including friendships. It's hard but when it's time to move on, it really is time to move on. Things change. When problems arise and you have to figure out how to solve it. Money issues when you think you had money. Finding ways to make money besides your main job because it's not a guarantee. Finding a place to stay after a disaster or something happened. Being accountable and responsible. Finally, choosing where to be and what to do as that has its own consequences as it would effect everything else. (seriously)

adulting. lol.
budgeting, planning, waking up every day, trying not to stress out about things. i have no kids or anything so i don't have that responsibility but yeah i'd say daily responsibilities, budgeting, planning, just waking up every day, trying not to stress, making sure you don't foret things. etc.

This tbh. My Monday - Friday often feels like "work, sleep, repeat." Do you cut into your sleep schedule so you actually get some personal time and risk that regret the next day?
There's definitely an amount of constantly switching up priorities.
