What was supposed to be "The Next Big Thing," but totally flopped? : KPOP Edition

I remember after EXID's fancam went viral, there was a huge push for really sexy fancams, where companies completely missed the point that EXID took off not solely because the dance was a little sexy, but because the underlying song was good, the girls were singing live and could sing, and they looked like they were having fun. Tons of super awkward fancams for a long stretch there.

Stardom promoted them to be the "Super Junior" of Hiphop leaning groups (horrible tactics). As you already noticed, it didn't work, despite of the group having many talented members.
