3rd gen groups than can keep going until 5th gen?

BTS will be the only one. I think they focus on subunit and solo stuff over the next few years but after JK comes back from the military in 2026, they're probably gonna set records when they have a full group comeback then.

BP will be long disbanded, same with Twice, EXO, Seventeen, etc.

i agree on bts, they have made a legacy which is too strong to be faded now.

Also not 3rd generation but Super Junior will be dancing to sorry sorry well into their fifties

hopefully blackpink but theyre under yg so

-im iffy about blackpink because of the way yg manages them

-red velvet (if the members resign) could become the next apink

-bts (no official disbandment just slow down in group activities)

-sm groups(in general) lose members but barely disband

-maybe got7 (since they aren't bound to jyp anymore and have said they plan to make group comebacks in the future)

maybe Lovelyz and April, if they get more comebacks

Blackpink, with the way YG is managing them there's no chance they're making it until 5th gen. Plus YG's new girl group will probably either take over or flop. It depends. I'd very much like to see Blackpink succeed and make it at least to 5th gen but like YG is actual dog sh*t. They've made their impact and have longevity for sure, so their presence will be there for sure.

I can see Dreamcatcher being in the industry for a long time. I'm just curious as to how HappyFace or Dreamcather company is gonna pull it off. Dreamcatcher are doing very well but I'm not 100% confident in saying they'll be here for a long time. Their popularity is big but mostly in the international market. If Dreamcather can manage to snag themselves a stable Korean fanbase, then they're good to go.

Personally I think TWICE and BTS, will make it. BTS is not gonna fade for sure and I don't see them dropping out anytime soon. TWICE, they're already starting to become a huge girl group for younger groups to look up to, with the start of 4th gen. I feel like TWICE has some longevity, I can see the members doing solo stuff, acting, etc. I don't see them disbanding tho. But you never know what's gonna happen cause JYP is a snake.

I doubt SEVENTEEN disbanding, they said themselves without svt they don't have anything else. Plus the only reason they're still going is because they make their own stuff. They have tons of things unreleased they can release in the future, and a more things they can make in the future. I might be biased tho cause they're one of my ults but SVT is here to stay at least for awhile.
