Can anyone predict Red velvet upcoming album sales? 500K possible or will they stuck around 300-350K ??

I think 400-500k

Queendom has only sold about 260 thousand on Hanteo and 360-370 thousand on Gaon till now, so I doubt they'll actually sell 500 thousand. There was more hype for Queendom and while it looks like people are interested in the concept and packaging of the Reve Festival: Prologue album, the hype is not as much as it was there for Queendom. And Queendom wasn't some big hit either, it wasn't liked that much by international fans so I doubt sales will increase by that much. I think this album will do 300 thousand on Hanteo and 400-450 thousand on Gaon, there are very less chances of it selling 500 thousand even on Gaon.

I don't expect 500K, but I think it'll increase from the Queendom numbers. So around 400K.

They debuted on the 1st of August, 2014 with Happiness which has sold 433,336 copies up to date. They Blew up in 2015 with Ice Cream cake and Dumb Dumb with both have sold over 1 Million and Their EP: Ice Cream Cake and Album: The Red. Sales: 1,378,831 in South Korea and 20,000 in the US.

Personally I think 500k is ambitious, given how poorly Queendom did outside of Korea, even fandom wise their streaming and views were kinda bad, I dont know if they have the dedicated fandom to reach that number since they won't have the overall popularity they'll be relying on mass buying and the company really isnt doing them many favors for the reasons above.

I will geuss 380 to 410 thousand in 2 months of Gaon updates.

Red Velvet's physical sales have never been their strength. If it was Queendom hit like Psycho, sales would probably have doubled. People just love Red Velvet's music but when the music doesn't turn out the way they want and then turn their backs sometimes . Because I think Red Velvet's hardcore fans are relatively less. Now the music of the new generation groups will increase even if it is not good music because times are changing and they are more trendy. Even though Red Velvet is not a trend group, it is a group whose music and vocals I will always look for. I think they will find at most 400k Gaon. I'm optimistically hoping they find the 450k gaon at least. As you said Sales have been split, as the Japanese album will be released at the same time. I think they could have found higher sales if the sales hadn't been split. Because I heard that the Japanese album sold quite a bit.

My estimation should be at least 400k. 500k is not out of the question. Good for them.

They are new groups and people tend to stan new groups and not old ones. The reason why twice increased sales was because they gained more international popularity, they are still expanding in other markets and that's not happening with red velvet. Also the recent growth of international fans is already benefiting both groups as you can see on their last comebacks otherwise they would have already mostly peaked

Wow I didn't know they were doing as good or even better than Queendom on ktown4u. Maybe a 400k+ will happen. That's good for a 8 year old gg to still see growth especially given Queendom didn't really make noise among international fans

I dont think physical sales matter alot for this RV comeback

Sm gg ktown4u sales are iffy bc queendom has more preorder there but aespa sold nearly 250k more in gaon, u can't never tell

Unless sm give a number the day their album is release u can't predict a number

Even Queendom had 155,000 pre orders on Ktown4u but it still only sold 260 thousand on Hanteo and 360 thousand on Gaon. Looking at the ktown4u pre orders even I expected Queendom to sell 350-400 thousand on Hanteo but it didn't.
