Oh. I have like 12, all cut to be electrician's safety pants.(3layer quilted denim) extra layers/leather pads at joints and common impact points (one of them has a leather shinguards!!)
but my regular jeans are additionally Costco's urban Star mens(6), one or two levi's mens for non stretch denim and Kirkland Signature ones for extra thicc denim.(3)
I grew up getting accustomed to falls, scrapes etc so all of them would be new and come out having knee holes in them lmao
now its a force of habit.
(total: 22-23 jeans, 10 regular use.) (yes I use the electrician safety pants sometimes unironically but its great being able to take shopping carts, ejecting from bicycles and running into trees and walking it off.)

30-ish? I live in jeans and leather jackets. All the ones I have are skinny jeans in many many colors and textures, though predominantly shades of blue, gray or black - usually darker. I have only 4 pairs of light jeans - 1 off white, 1 light blue-ish gray, 1 light blue torn and 1 light blue distressed. I have multiple pairs of medium and dark blue in all different hues, textures and thread color which are the bulk of my jeans. I also have about 8 pairs of gray/black jeans, also all different levels of black and gray, waxed, etc. I own several colored pairs as well - forest green, plum, dark khaki-grey and mustard brown. I do own multiples of the dark blue ones since those wear out the fastest color wise at the knees.
I buy mostly cheap jeans from Target since I wear a size that is often discounted since fewer people (at least where I live) take that size and they usually last quite awhile since I rotate very very often.

i have 20 more or less... most of them are mom jeans or baggy lol. (to be fair, most of them are actually my mom's that she never wore
).i like to follow loose-tight rule so most of my bottoms are a bit looser while my tops are more fitting
I follow this too, except the other way around. I wear loose blouses/sweaters/shirts and tight jeans. I tend to tailor a ton too since I'm very petite and do not want to look like I'm playing dress-up.

UPdate add one to that
turns out the olive green scout "canvas" pants also have denim content so i'm adding it.
Its the undisputed ruler of pocket arrangements tbh.

It's the other way around for me, since I wear hijab I opt for tight bottoms and loose tallish tops

ves if i had that many pairs of jeans i would close my wardrobe as soon as i open it because it would give me anxiety and then i would never be able to go out

10 pairs but 3-5 of them doesn't fit anymore.
Ordered two more this week.
5 are baggy/wide legs/mom jeans (1 brown, 2 light blue, 1 grey, 1 black)
5 are slim but two of the pairs are definitely too small and the other three are a little tight as well. (1 light blue, 2 dark blue, 2 black)
I've owned all the slim pairs (except one of the black ones) for 5+ years. All new jeans I buy are either loose or cut in some different way. The two new ones I ordered are boot cuts.
