The NCTification of the kpop industry.
Tbh the most surprising thing that happened in kpop .. kkkkkkk
Bc every new group has a few members who say they were inspired by my fav to become idols
As they should! Your faves are great!!!
Hmm I can’t think story based or world based lores being popular or relevant before EXO. Could be wrong tho and I’m just like other kpop fans feeling superior
We love that exo invented lores!! Kkkkkkkk

Tea!

This isn't being the blueprint
of course they are the blueprint if people are going to mention them randomly!!

Your thinking is wrong, next!
Kkkkkkk well, what I'm talking about here is "originality" and not "comparing", not the blueprint I'm talking about.

Who became a reference for the pure/innocent concept ?
Which second generation girl group renewed twice and is still pretty active ?
Who had to rely on their singing skills and was the only Kpop group to win Immortal songs not once but twice ?
Who slayed a jazzy sound during the first part of their career ?
Who love to make self-mockery songs and release them as title tracks like 1cm and Aya ?
Who was the first group to do a dual concept ?
Who became not only the most successful Kpop group of all time but also the current most successful pop act ?
Who used art and paintings to inspire Wings era ?
Who make regular references to literature in their songs ? (Wings, Spring Day, Moon, Butterfly, Pied Piper, Magic Shop...) ?
Who did a musical trilogy based on Carl Jung's psychology theories ?
Who did a UN speech after releasing an album trilogy based on self-love ?
Who is accumulating that much credits on their songs ?

The thing is:
Cute concept were invented in kpop or they took inspiration from others??
Singing skills were invented in kpop and just after mamamoo that singing was used??
The dual concept isn't even a thing for me when kpop releases so many different sounds within the groups.
Success has nothing to do with originality so .
Were they the first artist to use literature in their songs?? Self love??
I'm not taking away the praises, but nowadays everything is called plagiarism when in reality we are all copies. We take inspiration in everything and it is difficult to find some really original idea so the point is: "did your faves invented all of this? No! Did they popularized it? Probably yes!

Wrong!
MAMAMOO invented singing and Red Velvet invented music
