If I was BOA I’d feel bitter. The only time people appreciate my work is when I’m in a girl group with other female company artists. I know she also feels a certain way about this since she talked about how people haven’t been paying attention to her music.

Either way congrats but I hope she will get her flowers soon.

Literally the set of songs I was going to mention! I didn't realize they didn't get the accolades in Korea that they deserved. (I knew i-fans barely pay attention to BoA these days, but I thought k-fans stepped up!)

Shows how much GOT was carried by the younger girls especially aespa girls. Korea has shown again and again their preference towards younger girls and it’s so sad. Yes I’m still bitter that Mago and Cry for Me were not well received in Korea

Yeah it’s unfortunate but as a singer you only have a certain number of years before you loose “popularity” or relevancy with people. It’s only a matter of time before all singers who are popular now, IU, Taeyeon, BTS, BP, Twice, etc find themselves in a similar position.

Though IU has been bucking this fact of life, for some years now, by k-pop standards.

It is not just releasing music, even 50-60 year old veterans do so occasionally, but killing the charts reaching new peaks. That's rare.

Still it is only a matter of time.
