It's not that I can't stand it, I just don't get how people can eat several of them for breakfast, apparently often with nothing but a piece of butter and maple syrup on top (? correct me if I'm wrong)
Or maybe I just expect it to be a different thing than it is supposed to be, since (this seems to be the case for many other European countries) we use the same word for crepes and pancakes

can probably stuff two max and then finish off with eggs and bacon or something and a glass of fruit juice. (for an american breakfast lol)
pancakes are very very dry, but pro tip, pour the syrup slowly and let it sink in through the top or bottom. then the pancake is more like a pound cake after haha using the syrup to offset dry

I'm American and crepes > pancakes. I've had some good moist pancakes but most restaurant ones I've had have been dry or rubbery.

Those slices of American style cheese.
They taste and feel like rubber, add hardly any taste even after melted to food, if anything it makes it worse, and for some reason gives me weird tummy problems like the shits. Normal cheese doesn’t so I don’t think I’m allergic or anything, just American cheese probably is after any oil in my stomach lol. Even on fast food Either ask for no cheese or take it out and throw it away.
