Is Fromis_9 more popular than Everglow now ??

Better songs. Fromis 9 has been hitting it out of the park with their last 3 title tracks - feel good, we go and talk & talk.

They have a consistent sound too so far and don't trend hop the way everglow does. With them you generally know what to expect while everglow is hit and miss for me at least.

fromis is also apparently really popular with military guys? idk if that actually helps their sales or growth but it seems like even if their fandom is quiet they're still around.

Fromis_9 recent releases are great. And It also helps that the group is full of visuals and great personality.

From is is a third gen groop. They're close to end of their time while evwrglow is just starting out

Fromis_9 debuted in 2018 and Everglow in 2019.

Flovers have always struck me as a more stable and loyal fanbase than Forever. They grew up silently.

no because everglow is not popular internationally

Know nothing about fromis 9 but I don’t know if they were the group which were always in hiatus. But their last cb did okay for a non-established group. So I’m not surprised with their growth.

Even if EG are more known they are one of the rare groups which have the international appeal but can’t translate to their sales. While loona and DC are on the same boat in Korea but they can sell... also EG don’t have a strong Korean fanbase unlike fromis.

Fromis kinda reminds me of OMG, they silently built their kfandom with consistent releases and appealing to koreans, they dont need a big international fanbase to be stable in their country. They also took advantage this past year of ggs like lovelyz and gfriend disbanding and promoting the maknae a lot, their long period hiatus also and We go gave them hype. It charted very good considering their status

Everglow only had the hype from Yiren and Siyeon on Produce 48 . And they have that “noise “ music sound . If they had followed the sound of Ladida , I think they would be charting by now .

People only really accept girl group noise music from companies with huge clout. Fromis have a safe, likeable sound. They also had a mini hit with Love Bomb that helped built thier fanbase.

But ladida is one of their worst performing songs, both in Korea and internationally. Dun Dun is actually the most successful release and it could be called "noise". I think what they lack is promotions as group, individuales and a consistent discography

Wut? Fromis is the definition of generic. I cant recall a single song they put out.

And Everglow doesnt trend hop, they are pure, unabashedly girl crush.

From is 4 yrs old already. They were formed in 2017. Just a year younger then bp.

Nobody also mentioned their recent comeback posted on "HYBE" channel which caused more than 50% more likes than their previous comeback.
