My post of yesterday has made me think about a lot of things . And, well... Will you be ok if your fave groups release songs like these?
[29/12 1:33 p. m.] Rob😁: inspired by Chucky.
[29/12 1:34 p. m.] Rob😁: inspired by a nightmare on the Elm Street(Freddy).
[29/12 1:37 p. m.] Rob😁: inspired by Halloween( Michael Myers)
These songs are freaking good and I know that the metal community also thinks the same( the 2 latest ice nine kills' albums have been praised among the best of their respective years and both albums have been inspired by horror movies, each track based on one horror movie)!
However ... The metal community is different of the k-pop community which is more associated to the " cancel culture".
And since the k-pop is more mainstream than metal nowadays ... How will you react?
Take into account that even if the lyrics of the songs are brutal/explicit they are inspired by horror movies.
I'm genuinely curious about this since I'm a fan of INK (ice nine kills).
This post isn't related to that boy LEO before you come at me saying that I'm shielding him , however... What he did has made me think about what sensitive topics can be accepted in the entertainment industry without making a fuzz and what other topics can be directly cancelled.
