It is expected since Gidle has not released anything for almost a year.
It's impressive they still maintain their rank with all these drama & less activity.
I will not hide that I am very disappointed that Everglow and Loona are already caught up by the newcomers, I think these groups deserve a lot better. I don't see what is so different about them other than less hype.
I do not understand the success of IVE at all personally but it's ok, good for them.

Hopefully Loona and Everglow can recover, but it seems to be really hard for older groups.

Honestly, I don't understand how it works since some time. There are groups to which the GP did not give the slightest chance and others for which we give all the attention of the world for nothing at all.
BIG3 bands have always been popular, but what about the rest? Now I feel like it's all about timing and luck to get the GP's attention. It was played a lot before but it was also about music and talent. Now I don't feel like it all matters.
I have the feelings that for the GGs, the 4th gen is going to be that of ephemeral groups that will quickly gain popularity and sink just as quickly. There will be so many groups, that everything will go very quickly and that none will have the right to the slightest mistake, and they will also need a lot of luck to have their viral moment.
This 4th gen is going to be terrible for the girls' groups I think, the main risk is that the GP will quickly be saturated and get bored which risks quite simply destroying a good part of the market with a big drop in popularity.

At least back in 2nd gen there were so many non-big3 which were popular. It was domestic popularity >>> overseas popularity
Now only a few groups are having great digitals in Korea.
While in 4th gen everything is centered towards big 3 gg I mean Aespa we’re breaking all Spotify records during BM...
Weeekly got a hit with after school but they didn’t keep the momentum...sadly
Groups like Stayc (even izone) are doing great in Korea but are ignored internationally.
And there are groups like loona and everglow are doing bad in both cases.
IVE is an anomaly through...
