Let's not pretend that this is what people were actually bitching about. It was that she's white. Blame it on her getting plastic surgery to look Korean or using a Korean name (which btw, a lot of Koreans have English names also so that's a non issue), but I remember how much hate she got and it was ALL about her being white and being able to debut while other races weren't.

Koreans get English names to assimilate (or because they are biblical names because in case you didn’t know korea is majority Christian state) stop comparing things that can’t be compared.

If a non East Asian POC did what this idol did the hate would have been 10x more. Stop making up stories for some sob party against white people. The problem is she is an appropriating problematic kboo. Pipe down your bigotry is showing.
