I think in Jisoo’s case the right-wings only act like they are supporting this Drama because it’s accused of distorting History to their favor… which if you actually watch it isn’t, so it’s actually embarrassing that they act like supporting it just to piss off liberals.

At least in Korea, BPink fans and right wing male communities are both supporting Jisoo and Snowdrop. From the right wing perspective, the modern government is too liberal and feminist compared to the pre “democracy” era. From fan’s perspective they don’t like their biases and their activities being attacked.

Man jtbc really made a big brain move when they gunned down jisoo and made her accept that role bc now they’ve got a free horde of diehard defenders for their drama who’d go to hell and back and do anything in their power to support it and attack those that opposed / criticised the drama while jtbc doesn’t even have to lift a finger and just coast along the free defense
