Have you ever rode a horse?

I used to have a certificate

In Germany you can achive these 3 certificates

• 1 that shows your basic knowledge of horses and that you can rude in a circle while someone has the horse on a leash
• 1 that shows yout basic knowledge of horses and that you know how to ride trought a squar shaped paddok on your own
• 1 that shows advanced knowledge of horses and besides riding you also have to show that you can ride in a zihzag-patern and you have to jump over 2 obstacle of low hight

If you master all 3 you are allowed to go on competitions

I did the lowest level and had no idea that it was expensive 😬 basicly said I was on a riding stable (IDK the exact Englosh word) since they do that here in my country for hollidays where you learn riding or if you can ride you just practice for 1 week and they told us we can do the certificates on the last day without saying that it costs extra... most parents were of cause pissed to pay extra since almost all kids decided to do the certificate

No, I haven't...but I remember going to a school in another city (a pretty suburban one) other than where I live now and horse riding being EXTREMELY popular among girls.

I probably would've learned if I stayed there longer but there aren't really "horse girls" here even though it's not that far from there.

Yeah. My aunt owns several and I started learning how to handle horses and horse riding from around the age of 6.

They're Icelandic horses, so they're able to perform 5 gaits instead of the usual 3.

It's a lovely breed. Small but sturdy and very friendly.

Sure loads of times. I grew up with horses, my older sister was a real horsey person and had friends who owned horses I used to ride plus I was also a strapper for a friends two horses when I was in my teens.
