It's just a stupid reason to hate on a group from pressed people who probably jam to music with even more in-your-face autotune on public radio or streaming services. Like hs it's a pop group and you're complaining about autotune what a weird world we live in.

Because BTS is above humans, so they won't use such things like normal voices

Clearly a troll thread but it's true, the thing is that it doesn't ruin the songs for me. The vocal processing on Seventeen's stuff has definitely changed, especially their last album, from their pre-HYBE stuff but I still fully enjoy the songs

I also think it's a purposeful choice on marketing in part. HYBE clearly wants to expand its groups west and autotune is a current trend/popular in western music. Turn on a playlist of trendy American songs and they have either have the same amount or more autotune than HYBE songs. As far as that being a good or bad thing is up to an individual but on the whole, it doesn't seem to be detrimental in anyway considering the success of BTS's recent songs in America

Anyways it's clearly a stylistic choice and not the groups "not being able to sing" like kpop fans would like to spin it as

Personally I’ve never been bothered by BTS auto tune I don’t think they use that much I don’t know about txt I don’t listen to them however for enhypen I can clearly see a difference between the studio version and the live version.

autotune isn't just a hybe thing. kpop stans love to hate hybe groups because every single of them isn't a complete flop!! not anyone's fault hybe doesn't make nugus!!

in all honesty, i dont hear much difference between hybe groups and other groups when it comes to auto tune.

Except in songs where they really turn it up high like 'what if im that puma' or 'black swan'
