Why HYBE groups use to much autotune in their songs?

the time where auto tune was used to hide a singer's incapability ( still happens for some cases) has evolved to it being used as an aesthetic but the mentality has not, some still think auto tune is used to always hide the singer's shortcoming

both. hybe often puts a lot of autotune even when their groups more often than not are perfectly able to sing it live but some antis will use it as a drag regardless

I tend to like the songs that don't have that much autune (not all hybe songs have that much autotune) so it doesn't bother me that much usually but there are some cases when I'm just annoyed cause I like a song where they put too much autotune and where the live version sounds better

At this point I think it's disingenuous and dishonest to deny that bighit in general uses too much vocal distortion effects in their music. It's just a matter of whether you like it or not.

Suga is so much in love with auto tune. He himself said he likes to use it a lot. And I admit his raspy voice works well with it. Shadow and D2 are so good
