I follow certain Koreans who just listen to kpop casually and this the first time I've seen them this hyped up over a rookie group and idol right at debut. In different Korean online communities Leeseo is starting to trend a lot among fangirls/fanwomen and older male fans. What they praise her for:
- that she's young yet her vocal, dance and stage presence are really good
- great facial expressions and energy
- stands out visually and looks unique, like a Chinese actress at her prime but without the baggage
Gaeul kind of looks like her, so why isn't she trending as much? She doesn't have Leeseo's puppy eyes. And Leeseo also has the aura of youth and being natural, while Gaeul's tweaks give he an artificial feel the subconscious notices.
