Why did you join Allkpop?

i joined back because of gidle q&a... but also finding this place more active than onehallyu now

bored

used to be an oh member long time ago & then i realized how much i missed kpop forums so i decided to join the most active one

I was very bored and also used to be on other forum sites so I thought joining this one would be fun 2

1. I don't have friends anymore who are into Kpop.
2. For checking out the latest gossips about K-industry.
3. Like the way you researched anything regarding Kpop, I had the same experience and AKP threads were the first ones to pop up and I was a lurker. So I just decided to spend my time around people with the same interests.
4. For procrastination and unproductivity.

To talk about K pop and just to have discussions about random topics. I’ve seen many changes at this place and was curious to see what the new set up was like. Tbh, I wished they’d left it alone.

Well I had been lurking for over a year so I said why not. It also coincided with bp almost coming back and corona making life a bit more boring

Love the interactions and controversial stuff on Allkpop!

To love my bias

1. Wanting to know more about kpop and the community

2. Getting to know people with similar/different opinions regarding kpop and other areas that this forum offers

3. Saw this forum as a better platform than Twitter

4. Tea and gossip (can't help myself)

to talk about hongjoong and other things. I don't have any other site

to post nonsense

because all my friends are k-pop haters lol

I like the discussions in the forum.

I lurked on the forums for a loong time and when I finally sorta wanted to make an account, the revamp started so I decided to wait until the revamp. Even after the revamp, I was a little too lazy to make an account for a while lol (plus school) but then I think guests are only allowed to see a few posts in a thread so I decided to make an account finally

None of my friends liked my most favorite groups so I wanted to see if there was a group here that liked them but seems like there’s not a lot but I also don’t wanna keep talking about them cause people might get annoyed and then end up hating on my groups because of me :D

And I wanted to try allkpop, I used onehallyu for a few years so yeah

My IRL friends just aren’t interested in k-pop and I think it’s a huge part of my life and I needed to share my opinions with people who understand the industry

I heard about it because I would look up random stuff and find a thread here for it. I would also look at images and some of the good pictures would link over to this website. It seemed to be a recurring theme for the K-POP related things I liked to research so I decided to join it.

I've been addicted ever since LMAO. Not as much as I am today on the older forum but still a lot :D
