honestly there was so much misinformation going around about them so I just ignored anything that had to be said about them. As of now, I dont have much of an opinion about them tbhother than that the concept photos for savage and next level were sickening.

I considered them a supercharged version of BP, like BP on steroids. Rap focused verses, melodic prechoruses and bridges, beat drop choruses.
The one thing that has changed from Black Mamba to Savage is their charting success, i consider them a serious contender for BP's girl crush crown now. Also while Black Mamba was a mixed bag for me, i LOVED Next Level, it's the SOTY right now for me.

It kinda went up and down for me. During Black Mamba era, I never considered myself a stan(I loved Winter tho) but I'd defend them to hell and back on here because they'd get so much irrational hate at debut, it was really insane and undeserved.
I kinda lost interest during Forever and whatever went on in the meantime. Next Level doing well shocked me, I loved the song too and they caught my attention with SMCU Ep 1 + the Next Level teasers, but they were still just a group I casually listened to.
I didn't REALLY start getting into them until Savage. The moment the teaser came out(which was stuck in my head for a while) was the moment I started thinking "Hey, they're serving great music, an interesting storyline, the Savage album looks cool, maybe I should stan!"
I think my first listen of the Savage EP was like...that moment for me. To this day I have many songs(esp ICONIC, title track and I'll Make You Cry) on repeat.
I'd hunt YouTube down for all the performances and interviews they did, and this hasn't been the case(for me personally) for a GG since like... ITZY 2019. They're the real deal, literally.

Not at all. I have only become a fan this year but have liked every song so far with Next Level being my favourite. They are my ultimate girl group.

I have thought I will like the group a lot and their concept after I have watched individual member teasers, I have wished they gonna have music like the song where Ningning sang in her individual teaser, something like fairy tail or magical song but their music was very different from expected. Though I like their b side Lucid dream overall they are not my style so far. This can change tho, they are still young
