Oh definitely! Been interested in the korean culture as a whole. Language, cuisines, history, industry.

I was trying to learn Japanese but when I got into kpop, it made me reconsider learning Korean instead.

I learned how to read hangul and i can pick some korean words and sentences though so that's cool

Not really. I might have been interested when I first got into K pop, but I personally don’t think it’s necessary to enjoy the music and a Korean online friend I had said it is difficult to learn. There’s other languages I would rather learn.

I leaned some Korean from k drama

It was more the food, dramas and variety. Just for Kpop I wouldn't have bothered.

I had to learn it because back in the day subs were rare, and just watching a video without subs could get your computer to shut down due to viruses lol. Good ol' days
