Well with the new rules assuming more global achievements are taken into account it's not like they would have won anyway. Since Twice is nominated and have overall much higher sales this year and the gap will widen after FOL, much better streaming on Spotify, The Feels is still in the Apple Music Global top 40 while no other GG is right now, much better youtube numbers, charted in the UK hot 100, US Hot 100 and has done well in Japan Hot 100 too.
Really only area they are behind is domestic charting.

You are also ignoring the fact that there amount of percentages are the same between international and SK points. Both for digital and albums. And I don't want to sound mean, but Twice has Aespa beat on both of them. More songs, more albums, more physical and owning Spotify and Apple music.
