I rather assume older SM artists have better things to do with their life while the younger ones (who are the majority of the ones going here) still don't have the clout to say "naw" to company shit. Or they're older and not interested. Or they're booked. Who knows?

People make too much out of the fact that 30+ year olds aren't interested in hanging with 21 year olds at a costume party. The majority of the people in that list are 19-24..

Anyway, some said they were busy but wished to attend. The timing won't fit everybody especially since the Pandemic happened, a lot of gatherings have lost their importance (a lot of people easily refuse to go anywhere now compared to before).

Yes, I'm aware some of the people attending are over 24. Of the 30 people on that list, 19 are 24 or younger...which is the majority of people attending.

Maybe that's own my assumption here when I think about my own experience at this stage of life, but okay, sure it's not their age then, but rather their experience and prestige within the company that allows them to skip these things.

My main point here is that older SM folks have the clout to skip events and not have to do the dog and pony show unless they choose to or are contractually obligated. EXO members and Shinee members and RV members don't have to do this type of thing or show up in other people's videos to push their new single or do their dance. Sure sometimes they do, but not nearly at the same rate than "newer groups" like the Neos and Aespa still do.

Even if your anti-vaxx theory were to be true, I'm sure SM would allow them to attend the party, LSM himself has been caught breaking government rules before, and it's not like they have government officials in the building asking for vaccination passports
