This is China - there does not have to be any actual intent to evade taxes. They can just decide to make an example out of someone for political reasons, and claim they earned income in some way (in Korea, perhaps) and didn't pay taxes. One is guilty by default if the CCP decides a guilty verdict benefits the party.

alleged dating "scandals" I don't count -- Yuehua was planning on faking a dating scandal with her and some Minghao guy to get popularity. Cheng Xiao also basically exposed K companies for treating C trainees worse than other trainees which made headlines for a while. Also the dramas she were in earlier had controversies but those don't apply to her as a person OFC -- her image is pretty clean besides jealous fangirls.
