Funniest interaction with another fan of a group you stan?

When I went to Tokyo for SHINee dome con, I tried to line up for merch at 5am.

I was so not prepares, everyone else has blankets and food and I just showed up like a potato

Shawols really adopted me and kept this foreigner warm and fed LMAO

I still talk to them, they are all amazing people

There seem to be a lot of ageism on Kpop twitter.

So I was walking through a crowd with my dad at a festival a few months ago. I was wearing my BTS shirt that day and I was kind of hoping that someone would notice lol.

As I was stepping over people who were sitting and watching the stage, I heard someone say 'oh hey, BTS!!' and I assumed it was just wishful thinking, lmaoooo

But when I looked down I saw a woman who must have been about 40 or so with some of her friends. she said 'hey, I'm an army too!!' and we had a really sweet conversation, we talked about how we want bts to come to the uk! it was so lovely and such a nice memory since it was my first time actually meeting an army in real life

edit: also I remember she made a finger heart at me but kind of did it weirdly and looked super embarrassed lol. that was the funny part and I completely forgot whoops-

Kpop fans in a nutshell, i saw someone at the bts concert who had fake merch with their faces like thousand of their faces plastered on every part of clothing they wore and they said loudly: where is bts? I saw on twt that they are there and there and I don’t think they would think that we are crazy fans.

I had to physically torture myself not to roll my eyes

I've found one of my best friends at a bus stop while she was wearing a BTS shirt.

I had no idea about who she was and BTS wasn't popular back then, so finding a fellow ARMY was really hard.

I talked to her enthusiastically and asked if she was a Kpop and BTS fan, she responded me very nicely and also enthusiastically and we talked about Kpop for a while.

Then we left and we didn't got each other's numbers.

Months later, I find her at a mall and recognized her instantly.

Then we had plenty of snacks for the whole afternoon and we're friends to these days!

It's been about 7 years since that happened.

She still loves Kpop too.

I didn't have a stan Twitter account to begin with but I mentioned that I was a fan of BTS and that's how that kid found me. Good stuff.

Basically, I'm too old to stan a group of my age but all of them are her husbandos and it's fine for her to stan and thirst over them publicly.

This made me laugh, I run a vocals account and people often come with clips and then I often get several immature fans there. I’m surprised that there are immature fans of people like Wendy that think she was naturally born with such a good voice and not in the years she has spent developing her technique. I feel like it is rude to discredit the amount of work she did to create her technique.

Not funny really but remembering it makes me smile. On YouTube a fan of another group was on Blackpink's MV mocking them, saying how much better her faves are. I left a comment telling her to spend her time with her faves then, and she replied with a whole essay threatening me with the "wrath of (fandom)", and "you don't know what you just started".

I was going to ignore but I saw something in her username about mental health and asked about it. She instantly turned into the sweetest person, introduced herself, asked me how I was doing, and we ended up having a chat in the comments (around her continuing to fight with new commenters). If you ever see anyone in Blackpink's comments calling Blinks "loser dickbags", she's actually quite nice...
