People pay youtubers to react to their fav????
-
-
they probably have too much disposable income
-
-
-
a fool and their money are soon parted
-
Maybe they like that youtuber?
-
-
-
Or it be like “Vocal Teacher reacts”
But they give literally no constructive information about vocals in their reaction except for “wow! Omg!”
Likeeee sis if you’re a vocal teacher, I’m a plane.

Fandoms do fundraiser to pay bunch of youtubers to react to specific groups and all
I dont think its bc they like the youtuber

I only watch some reactors if they are funny af (there is one guy who is really funny and like puts effort in his edits), give more information (on the medium as in editing or producing) or if they are reacting to something special. Most of the time, not to say that kpop fan‘s opinions are less valuable but most of them are posing as if they never have heard the term kpop and put literally no effort into their reactions. Sometimes you see that they hate the song but they are like “wooow so great 🙂, fav song of this year“

yes, they have patreon and all of them quit their day job. they earn more money sitting at home, saying stuff kpop fans pay to hear

lol at least they're being honest.
Sometimes I watch a stream and people drop $100 like "thank you for your content it makes my day", and I'm just like

-
idk but i find it weird to be so dismissive of youtubers attempting to make income. there is a movie and tv show reactor community as well that does similar things. paid supporters get to suggest what they watch next. is it so weird for people to pay others for content...?? sure straight up reaction videos arent the most interesting, thought provoking pieces of media out there but some people like to hear other people's opinions on things, they like to feel like they're having a convo with a friend about a song/movie/show ect that they like. some reactors are scummy, but some have valuable commentary to offer. and people can spend their money however they want

I am personally subscribe to patreon of art youtubers but they actually provide original content and materials for their supporters.
All kpop reactors do is exclaiming ohhh and ahhhhh and some talks here and there
They are not making content, adding anything of value or even honest in their reactions
-
I guess I chose the wrong career, I could be receiving money to watch kpop

that is not what all kpop reactors do tho. there are plenty these days who do things like "musician reacts" or "vocal coach reacts". its not like it was a few years ago.
-
I can only speak for the handful of Twitch streamers I follow, but they do tend to give higher consideration to game suggestions from people who have subbed/donated because those people are actively supporting them and they want to return that by producing content those people want to see. I imagine a lot of YouTube reactors are similar.
I'm sure there are some out there who are like "aw yeah if someone pays me $150 I'll react to a Blackpink dance practice!" but there are people who are just trying to earn a buck by building a little community.

Have seen those and still dont find any merits in them
They dont actually provide any technical notes on the music or the vocals
They wont talk about how can someone achieve the vocal techniques used, often dont even mention any particular technique, or how some chord progressions are done
Overall they are pretty meaningless material
Nothing deep or technical about the
Nothing to note from them or learn

Sometimes i watch doctor who related live streams and it's not uncommon to see 100 dollars or euros. But to be quite honest paying to listen trashing of doctor who worths every cent

I also watched political streams, saw lots of 100s there too

The vast majority of them really don't offer anything. They just use their vocation to convince kpop stans their opinion matters more, that they know what they are talking about. There's no difference between them and random reactors, they all say what the audience wants to hear - praise
-

Thankfully, films and tv shows have sucked for quite some time, there's more than enough content to trash
i watched a 5 hour doctor who trashing session (not at once lol), it has 1.6m views
what bbc done to that show is unforgivable, ugh.you'd earn a lot money!
i wouldn't pay but I'd subscribe

as much as I dislike reaction content I lived for AOT bashing after the ending
-
I usually watch those KPOP react videos if they are giving technical comments based in their respective industries like their music, video, dances.
-
tbh in Twitch it feels normal. Like I always send donations there for creators that I like but just to throw some random comments not something they asked for.
The Youtube reactor I was talking about is like asking people to suggest/tell them what should they react to next etc so I assumed they meant in comments but they actually ONLY take paid requests. That turns me off tbh.

Ow I love that channel because they react to a lot of Day6
And that the owners of that channel (I think she is the owner) are MyDays that literally react to their entire album
Literally MV react + Part 1 + Part 2 react and they actually give proper feedback on the instrument and the melodies which Day6 made themselves with a bit of help (not hire 46263263 producers to do it). Gives me a new found appreciation for their music
4 videos for 1 album they have amazing taste
