I think they will come back for sure. What I can see though is them to reduce their promotions as a group to accomodate their solo activities more. Most members have achieved some level of success while promoting solo and I can see them fighting not to give up on that. But the (g)i-dle brand is still strong and it would be a disservice to everyone to let it go.

Maybe they can move her from Main Vocal to Main Dancer, and keep Miyeon as the sole main vocal. I don't think she has the same ability as Soojin though unless they really put her under severe bootcamp training, but even then, she doesn't have that sexy Soojin energy.

Gidle now has 2 korean members and 3 foreign members. i really feel a new member with good dancing skills and visual like Soojin will be of benefit to Gidle and gain GP interest for their comeback. Neverlands are opposed to even Gidle continuing as 5 but think for the rest of group's sake it will be a good move. in 2nd gen it was common in kpop groups for member lineup to change.Any aspiring idol trainee will be happy to get into an already successful and established group like Gidle.

, they better bring back SoojinI wouldn't say that's accurate if anything Hwayoung was added in 2010 and they still continued with hits pre-scandal(I don't think anyone saw it coming though). Kara for example also truly hit it big with member changes after their debut as Goo Hara and Kang Jiyoung were added in 2008 after one member left. For a modern example Minx/Dreamcatcher became more popular not only with an image change but also the addition of two new members Handong and Gahyeon so addition of members is not always a death kneel, if anything everyone seems to do it now Red Velevt hit big with Ice Cream Cake with the addition of Yeri after all.

i know they are not dance focused but Soojin has that sensual aura and best stage presence after Soyeon. Also Soojin got many cfs which will be a loss to the group. if another member can have that quality they can bag cfs so long as gidle comeback does well on charts.
