I thought they already had plans for new bg outside of NCT
as well as some plans about NCT Hollywood
so this should be for girls, at least that's what I would do... after all there already are tons of boy groups in SM

you know pnation is going to debut a 2009 liner soon! And yg was also holding global auditions for new boygroup recently which for 2002-2010 liners i believe.

It’s the same age as auditions always been tho. ‘08 liner would be a 13 year old, which even 1st Gen idols auditioned for companies at that age. It just looks younger cuz, well we’re getting older lol

Yes, I realize that but Idk it is just weird cause unlike in the earlier days of the industry they do not keep them as trainees for more than 2-3 years max usually and the idols are less likely to finish school now compared to before (early 2000s-2010s) which sets them up for failure if anything ever happens in their careers where they need to leave the idol industry.

lmboI only started stanning NCT last year so this is different for me. It's not only about me not wanting to stan children but I also think this might make the group dynamic awkward if they're going to keep doing full-group projects ala Resonance. Either side of both age groups will end up with age inappropriate music and concepts.

oh. i don't understand what sm plans are. NCT hollywood. New boy group. Rumoured new NCT unit with Sungchan and Shotaro. Aespa whole SMCU lore. Don't know when they will do all these.
