I also recommend Extracurricular, Beyond evil, Mouse, Taxi Driver, Devil Judge and The Veil. No romance, only good-written plots.

This year was such a good year for crime/thriller/mystery dramas, I was also so sick of romance

those are two of the best dramas there are...

glad people are starting to pay attention to other genres of drama especially my favs Thriller and Crime. Every year a romcom is the most popular kdrama. i will be happy to see that change.

Watch Stranger it is on Netflix it has two seasons

One of my fav Kdramas. Jo Seung woo and Bae Doona damn that combination. I can't watch another Jo Seung woo drama/movie without comparing the character he plays to Hwang Shi Mok his character in Stranger. The acting is top-notch, the plot is really good too. I especially enjoyed the debate on investigative rights between the prosecution and the police. However, if you like simple, easy-to-digest stories maybe Stranger is not a good recommendation.

A bonus recommendation, not a thriller. It is a slice of life drama. tbh I cried so hard watching this drama.

Forest of Secrets S1 - excellent drama.

You didn't ask for rom-coms but I highly recommend One The Woman - it's hilarious, Honey Lee is killing it! Six eps aired so far, can't wait for the rest of the 16 eps :)
