i don't know who's gonna be a kpop stan for 20+ years but
I said to myself that I will stop listen to Kpop after the 2nd gen now we are at the 4th gen already so.....yeahh I think I will never escape the Kpop hole 
Well the newest groups I stanned are Aespa and Enhypen, if I keep on stanning them until their disbandment and not unstan then around 7 more years.
And BTS resigned their contracts for 7 more years in 2020.
So 2027/7 more years, unless I unstan these groups, aespa, enhypen, bts and some of my other favs resign their contracts more times, or I stan an future gen group.

I said the same when Girl Generation is over I will stop listen to Kpop but then we got so many good groups.....Hell at first I don't even want check out Itzy or Aespa and now they are my absolut Favorit

I like what I've heard from PNNBG, but I doubt I'll stan them; once their CEO retires, I'll move into casual fandom.
It's like the same thing like asking someone how long they're going to listen to pop, rap, hip hop, etc. It's just a preference in music.

Maybe after Covid ends I can leave the stanning world and go back to my normal life. But I will keep listening to my current faves at least.
I will probably drop in for vocalists but if the trend continues then I will leave with the 4th generation.
I ask myself this all the time and after ten years which is the longest I have ever followed anything probably will give it away soon. I can't kid myself I am 53 and some might think it's kinda sad that I'm even a fan at all at my age and they're probably right. I like the music but get bored with the array of groups now SJ are past it. The idiotic fans don't help and I get tired of scrapping with youngsters here that are way too young for me. You wanted an honest answer, well you've got one.
