Of course, they do! We have high school credits where you have to complete specific type and number of classes. Like in order to graduate you need some Math credits, English, Science and History credits, all common core classes, along with elective and physical education credits.

Yep! That's only the bigger picture though. There are lots of different sectors of each big category of credits.
