its true?? everyone knows that snsd had the most impact nationally. BP was the only kpop gg invited to coachella (not even bts was so that says something), and everyone know's TWICE as Asia's gg.

You might be underestimating SNSD in Asia though. Did you forget how huge they were in Japan?
And yes Twice is huge too but I don't think they are bigger than SNSD was. Even outselling them there doesn't prove they are bigger. Album sales for everyone is up so it's not a fair measuring stick. Like Stray Kids selling more than TVXQ. Are we really gonna say they are bigger than TVXQ lol
if im being honest im not sure, i became a k-fan back in late 2017 so i really don't know much of snsd aside from the basics and the fact that they're incredibly popular and VERY talented

SNSD: They have many many songs that the entire general public adored.
Since the 3rd gen, the GP has kinda been distancing themselves from Kpop, other than the occasional viral hit here and there. Now everything is fandom driven, and I feel like the statistics nowadays are inflated to make their faves seem more relevant than they actually are (such as bulk-buying, zombie streaming, hashtags, etc.) That would explain why groups still make lots of money, still break their personal records every comeback, but lots of "hits" even by top tier groups are forgotten in less than a year.

I think it would be delusional not voting snsd. When they were on top that was also a completely different time for idol groups, they were at their peak level of public interest. Snsd in particular were also heavily pushed by sm, much more than jyp or especially yg ever tried with twice & bp.
I think bp have the potential to come close to that peak tho, if their company werent wasting the momentum for how many years now?
