I do find it funny that so many I Fans are getting so riled up over Sowon posing next to a German SS trooper mannequin but have no problems with Americans or other tourists going over to Japan and ranting about how beautiful the Imperial Palace is.

You know, the seat of the Emperor of Japan who murdered, tortured, and enslaved millions of Chinese, Koreans, and American and Allied POWs.

ETA: And just to be clear, i have no problem at all with people visiting those places or calling them beautiful or taking pics or whatever. They're going there as tourists, not to endorse or support Japanese war criminals. Just like how Sowon was just taking what she thought was a cute pic with a mannequin, not endorsing max extermination of Jews and others.

agreed. From what I read they apologized and BH provided supplemental education in such topics. I think it's obvious she posted out of ignorance. She should just provide the personal apology that everyone is requesting (if not for the randoms on the internet, then for gfriend actual jewish fans) and move on. People that weren't her fans are gonna remain the same, and her fans will continue to support her. Cancel culture is actually just a FAD that no one actually subscribes to.
