What is the most common reason you unstan an idol or idol group?

I've unstanned 2 groups for these reasons. Each one for one of these reasons in particular.

I still check their music tho and one of these groups still make amazing songs and consistent albums, it's just that my Stan "Spark" is over.

My music taste changes or they change their music style to something I don't like.

When they do things I find unforgivable

- If they've committed acts that go against my morals (crimes, racism, homophobia, etc) and are repeated or not apologetic for.

- If they're music becomes bad.

Most uncommon reason however is when I'm getting into them but suddenly I have some school things to do and become super busy, I never really pick up where I left off and end up never have the desire to go back to stanning them anyway (happened with Mamamoo).

Yet to happen. Probably won't be but still there's a possibility.

Because they've disbanded on bad terms and have no hope for future reunited activity.

I just lose interest.

It can happen pretty quickly when I no longer like the music.

Last time it took only two comebacks that I felt kind of meh about for me to stop checking out what they're up to altogether.

Either bad music or their fandoms (Most likely music though. I have 'unstanned' one group because of their fandom.)

Probably a combination of the music quality dropping/staying stagnant and getting bored

I don't think I qualify as a stan, I'm just passionate about music and enthusiastic about enjoyable songs which is "quasi-stan" like especially if an artist or group has a lot of catalog quality songs.

It usually comes down to the songs. If the song quality drops or doesn't feel inspired, I won't have anything recent to be enthusiastic about. If the artist or group releases too many songs that are uninspired or regressive, that's when I prepare them to be dropped into the roasting pit.

2PM is the current example. Their music doesn't feel inspired anymore. SHINee finally snapped out of it and realized they can do R&B songs/styles that they are known for AND still be experimental too. MONSTA X is getting closer to being roasted because they are not really moving towards their potential in their K-Pop offerings especially with how they dropped the ball on bars in "Love Killa". I think that instrumental is still d0pe though.

I'm way more nurturing with the "womens". I will instead roast their teams and/or agency for not looking out for them like they should.

When the music (and singers) don't vibe with me anymore. I used to like One Direction and I stanned them for years until one day I found myself skipping their songs. Now, I don't even listen to their music or follow any of their activities.
