It feels like after her scandal she is trying to seem more cheery and smily in their MV but i feel it doesn't work, Irene always had this kind of cold etheral beauty and aura that sadly she can't keep anymore since she needs to look more warm so antis don't use it against her by saying she looks like a bitch so i kind of feel sad for her that she can't do the thing/aura she was amazing at, honestly what she did wasn't even that bad i don't know why she can't be forgiven by some koreans citizens
I feel kind of bad for Irene

For goodness sake, we are talking about a grown woman who bullied someone to tears. Why is she the one people feel sorry for?
Should she be punished forever? No. But she is rightly facing (very, very light) consequences for her actions and to see so many fans defend her constantly is just bizarre.
If she wasn't so pretty, I guarantee the reaction would be completely different. Let's hope she becomes a nicer human being.

Based on how well Red Velvet is charting in Korea I think it’s safe to say they’ve forgiven Irene I don’t think she’s forcing it I think she’s changed because of it for the better the lyrics talk about a fresh start on Queendom

The comment saying what is Irene doing on Soojin's article has a lot of downvotes and if you read the korean comments on the MV, a lot is supporting Irene.

Lol.
Not gonna lie.
The first thought in my head when I saw how "sweet" the song and MV is was...
Huh, this kind of works well against the people who might be coming for her to point out a lack of smile or something dumb like that. No food to fuss over.
But yea, I doubt they made it that way for that purpose. And Irene still has her trademark confident upper class smirk a lot throughout.
I thought she looked and did great in the MV.
I don't think there's anything to feel sorry for her for.
God I loved her outfit in that. The black skirt and button top. With the white hairband. So pretty.
-
Right? The reaction is laughable. Poor rich woman who treated people like shit and faced very few consequences. Oh the sympathy a pretty face gets you
-
Girl should keep her head down and reflect on the fact that if it weren't for her pretty face, many reactions would be completely different. She should also be grateful to face such a light consequence? Oh wait barely any consequence for being grown and verbally abusing someone for that period of time.

The amount of people take any bait just to bash someone, it's cute.

I don't feel bad at her at all. Did she not yell at a makeup artist that was probably making minimum wage for 20 minutes?? Like what is their to feel bad about. I love irene, she's my damn bias but I'm not gonna sit here and cry over her wrongdoings. She apologized and the women accepted her apology so let's just move on. Of course she's gonna look a bit nervous at times because she probably wants people to just forget about the whole ordeal. Knets dragged her through the mud and back.

This. These are the same people complaining about how Knetz are so quick to cancel but literally drag this situation for so long. It's been nearly a year, move on.
-
The difference is that Soojin\CUBE handled the whole situation poorly while Irene apologized several times and the stylist forgave her. Soojin hasn't even given out an apology for all we know, that's enough for the public to drop her. Maybe if she and CUBE took a few notes from Irene\SM and Hyunjin\JYP she wouldn't be in this situation.
